Weather and such!

The spring, and almost summer, have come to Japan. Despite of all the fuss about radiation and such, it's reaaally nice weather, and I'm enjoying it a lot! Well, I like pretty much any weather so maybe it doesn't say much coming from me, but I think this is the kind of weather most people like, if they're not allergic to pollen.

Yesterday was pretty stormy though, and it rained in the morning and most of the afternoon and evening but the sun was shining at noon. But when I was walking to and from the station, it was just dark skies and really windy. I loved it!

When I got home I had the grand plan of studying my ass off for the big test we had today, so I started off with a 30 minute power nap. Or so I thought... 15 minutes into my power nap (I even managed to fall asleep before that!) I got a text from a Korean friend, saying she was visiting the guest house, so I hung out with her and her friend for the rest of the day and didn't study anything. But I did eat a really awesome dinner that Marcus had made for us :) Thanks, Marcus!

But despite my lack of study will yesterday, I feel I pretty much nailed the test today. It wasn't a problem at all, and it was nothing I could've done yesterday to improve the results anyways, so I feel perfectly contented :)

Now I'm going out in the sun! See ya!

Korea was great!

I know I know, it was really long ago I wrote something here, I've just been so tired every time I've stepped into my room that I haven't been motivated enough to write anything. Anyways, I'm going with shorter and more frequent posts from now on.

The Korea trip was awesome! I went on the plane together with Marcus and Juri (Korean girl), and we mostly stayed at her place with her parents and her older sister (born 85', just like everyone's older siblings seem to be!), but we also stayed at two other friends' houses at times.

Here are some pictures of me, Marcus and Sonchan (Ichiban Kankokujin), trying out traditional Korean clothes, and me beating on a big fat drum in front of people.
Everyone and the royal guard! Behind us is a museum/park, where the king used to live long long ago.
Me standing next to a ROYAL GUARD, how awesome isn't that? (I don't think he's really a royal guard though :'< ) I got to take the special two people photo with him since I beat on the drum.
Sonchan, Korean drumboy, me and Marcus.

Oh, and about 50 minutes ago there was a pretty big earthquake again close to Saitama, but it's no worries over here! I have to stop saying "bankai", I think it's starting to get real...
